Bryant Museum Connects Community

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – As the final seconds ticked down in the 1982 Liberty Bowl, the old ball coach was lifted in the air with decades of success as well as failures smeared across his withered and wrinkled face. The players carried him across the field and celebrated his final moments as a collegiate head coach – a career that spanned more than 35 years, 323 victories and six national championships.
